Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop the reliable and valid Korean version of the Social Anxiety-Acceptance and Action Questionnaire(SA-AAQ: MacKenzie & Kocovski, 2010). First, the factor structure was analyzed. The result of the factor analysis showed that two factor accounted for 55.8% of the total variance. Second, using the confirmatory factor analysis we re-examined the factor structure and investigated reliability and concurrent, incremental validity. The result of the CFA supported the one factor model with method effect. The internal consistency coefficient(Cronbach¡¯s alpha) of the Korean version of the SA-AAQ was high(.92) and correlation coefficients of item-total were from .37 to .82. SA-AAQ displayed good concurrent validity. Moreover, a hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the SA-AAQ predicted variability within social anxiety above and beyond that of the AAQ-¥±. Finally, the implication of this study and direction for future study were discussed.
